    Recent Tiny Zoo Changes
Can I play Tiny Zoo on newest generation iOS devices?
There is a known compatibility issue with Tiny Zoo on iPad 4, iPad mini, and iPhone 5 devices. We are currently working on a fix for this, but in the meantime we do not recommend playing on these devices. If you are experiencing these issues, please submit a support ticket with your device information and we can transfer your account.
Why can't i watch videos for free zoo bucks? / I watched a video for free zoo bucks but I did not receive them.
There is a known issue with the videos to earn free zoo bucks, which we are currently working to fix. We are unable to credit individual players zoo bucks for this issue.
Other players are able to view videos to earn free zoo bucks. Why can't I?
We are testing this feature for a limited number of players right now. We may offer this to more players in the future.
Where is the third installment of Colorado Smith goals?
The third set of epic goals is still in development, but expect more adventure soon!
What is Family Bonding in and how does it work?
Complete families of 4 can now bond together to make them happier and stronger! When you bond a family, you earn a a 50% total bonus payout for the family and a new heart paw sign indicates they have been bonded.

The 50% bonus does not stack with the 15% bonus for having a completed family; it increases the bonus from 15% to 50%.

Each time a new family is bonded, you earn a one-time bonus, which can be Zoo Bucks or Coins!

You can access Family Bonding via the Bonding button in the shop menu or by tapping on a completed family.

If you wish to hide the Family Bonding heart sign, you can do so by tapping "Menu" then "Options" and sliding "Habitat Effects" to the Off position.
What level do I need to be to use the Collect All feature?
The "Collect All" feature unlocks at level 55.
How can I collect all multiple times a day?
You can use the "Collect All" feature once very 12 hours.
My "Epic Journey" says I've raised my zoo over 15%. Why won't the goal complete?
If the goal reads say 20%, that is only 20% of 15%. You need to reach 100% to complete the goal.
I didn't get my free Prize Pond try. What happened?
In order to get a free try at the prize pond you need to click on the Prize Pond modal (pop up screen that appears when you load the game) to bring you to the Prize Pond, as doing that is what triggers a free prize pond attempt. If you already skipped over that modal then you will have to wait for it to resurface again to get a free prize pond try.
My level went up, does that mean I received zoo bucks from the levels I jumped?
Yes. For example, if you went from level 33 to 41, then your account will automatically be credited zoo bucks for the levels you jumped.
I hear there are old animals you can unlock in the new levels. How can I get them?
Limited time animals from some previous themes have been resurfaced and will unlock at higher levels. We encourage you to reach out to your fellow Zoosters on the Facebook fan page to find out which themes will unlock at which levels!
    Were changes made to tipping?
Yes. We increased the tip amount from 50 coins to 100, greatly increased the amount of tips you can give people a day, and you can now receive 50 tips a day instead of 20.

    Basics:

    Animals

Animals are an essential element to Tiny Zoo! You can find them in the store by selecting Animals. Tap the Animal icon in the store, find the animal you would like, and tap on it! Every time the animal has an icon over it’s cage that says “Collect,” tap it. You will gain coins this way. Once you are done collecting, you can then “Feed” the hungry animal by tapping it again. Feeding the animal will collect your XP.

    Breeding

When you have purchased two of the same breed, you have the ability to breed your animals together to make another! Go to the “Breeding” icon and purchase a nest to breed your animals. Remember though, once the animal is ready, be sure to place it before the time runs out. If you don’t, the animal will “Run Away.”

    Lab/Cross-Breeding

If you have made it to level 10, you should now be able to Cross-Breed your animals! This fun and exciting feature of the game allows you to take one animal and breed it with another to create a whole new animal! To do this, go to the “Lab” and purchase a “Nest.” The animal will remain a mystery until finished! Once it is done, you can then place it in your Zoo as a whole new habitat! Don’t forget to place it within the indicated amount of time though or else the new animal will “Run Away!”

    Tiny Social

Tiny Social is a great way to interact with your friends in Tiny Zoo and all of TinyCo’s games! If you don’t have any friends who play Tiny Zoo, no problem! Find ones that do in the Community section of Tiny Social. You will need to create a Tiny ID and select your avatar to get started. To add friends to your Social profile, go to the tab that says “Invite.” Here you can either type in your friend’s Tiny ID or connect to Facebook and add all your Facebook friends to your Tiny Zoo friend list.

    Decorating/Purchasing from the Store

The store icon has a lot of great features to help make your Zoo beautiful! Tap on the icon and you will see multiple options. Under this tab is an “Animals” section where you can purchase all the awesome animals that you desire to fill up your Zoo. Another feature of the store is the area to purchase “Expansions.” You can make your Zoo larger to fit more of your animals! There is an area to purchase “Shops” for your Zoo. When you place these items in your Zoo, they will earn you an indicated amount of XP points each time they need cleaning. The “Food” stands that you can purchase will do the same for your Zoo. The last feature in the Store menu is “Decorations.” Here you can purchase several items to build your own unique Zoo including trees, pathways, and even bathroom facilities!

    Other Information:

    Gaining XP

XP ("experience") is important because it allows you to level up in the game. And as you level up, you can unlock more animals and decorations. Gaining XP can be done by a few ways in the game. Gain XP by doing the following

    • Feed your animals after you collect - Animals have to eat, it’s a tough job being that cute all day.
    • Clean your food and shopping stands - No reason stands should look like the animal cages
    • Pick up the trash - Pollution affects everyone so do your part!

    Earning Currency

Currency makes the Zoo go round! Without it how else will you get new animals, shops, and decorations. You can earn Zoo Bucks by leveling up in the game and completing some specific Goals. Coins are earned a bit differently and can be done by completing most Goals in the game and collecting from your animals.

    Picking Up Trash

Like any Zoo, people litter and trash will appear. Don’t be alarmed because all you have to do is tap on the trash to clean and get rid of it. Be sure to do this regularly as this keeps your Zoo goers happy.

    Zoo Status

Your Zoo “Status” can be accessed by tapping on the “Zoo Status” bar in the upper right hand corner. Zoo status tells you how you rank in each category like animals, decorations and so on. To get a higher status, continue adding items for categories with lower stars and follow the prompts such as “pick up trash” and “expand your zoo” to increase your stars..

    Changing your Zoo name

You can change your Zoo’s name by tapping the pencil icon next to your profile. When you are finished typing your Zoo name, just tap OK to change it! Your zoo name is different from your TinyID. Make sure you like the TinyID you create, because once it's set, you cannot change it. Please note, the zoo name feature is not available in the Android version.

    Collections

Collections is an all new feature that allows you to complete multiple animal families to unlock new animals as well as exclusive awards such as bucks and XP (experience)!

    Basic Troubleshooting
How do I update to the newest version of Tiny Zoo?
To upgrade, exit the game and go to the App Store on your device. Tap on the "Updates" tab at the bottom to see the latest available version of Tiny Zoo. If you don't see it available, search for "Tiny Zoo" and check the version to see if you have the latest one.
How can I reset to the beginning of the game? I want to start over.
Sorry, this feature is not available in Tiny Zoo Friends.
How do I delete or uninstall the app?
You can delete an app by pressing and holding on the app icon from your home screen. Once they start wiggling, then click the minus sign in the upper left. This will remove the app from your device, but don't worry - your progress will still be there for you if you decide to return. Please note that if you are on iOS 6.0 or later, there is a small chance that you will lose your game. Please make note of your TinyID and UDID before uninstalling your game so we can restore your game if necessary.

    Device Issues
I just got a new device and my game is gone. How do I get it back?

No worries, you can get your game to the new device! There is a feature in Tiny Zoo that will allow you to transfer your zoo by yourself, instantly. This requires you to have your OLD device still with you, as well as a NEW device with a camera included. If you have both devices, you can complete the transfer on your end within the next five minutes (read more about this feature here: http://bit.ly/tinyzootransfer). If you cannot transfer your game yourself, we'll need the following information from you:

    - Your OLD TinyID from your original game, UDID (for iOS players, see this link: http://bit.ly/9RwNeA) or IMEI (for Android players, see this link: http://www.technipages.com/android-find-imei-number.html).

    - Please create a NEW TinyID on your new device, and forward that to us as well. You can set up a TinyID by going to Menu -> Tiny Social -> Profile -> Entering a TinyID below the Profile Picture

Please note that the new TinyID will become your default ID associated with your game, as transferring does not transfer your old TinyID to the new device. Additionally, we are unable to transfer games between iOS and Android and vice versa. Once you have the correct information, contact us at the link at the bottom of this FAQ.

Can I transfer my game from iOS to Android (or vice versa)?
Sorry, that feature isn't available. We cannot transfer your game from iOS to Android or vice versa.
How can I play my game on more than one device?
Tiny Zoo can only be played on one account per device. Because of this, players can only have one zoo per device, but also can only play that zoo on that one device.
    Currency/Billing
I just bought some bucks and coins but didn't receive them. How do I get them?
If you have purchased bucks or coins and don't see them in your game, don't panic! Try restarting your device, then running the app again and leaving it open for a minute. Sometimes it can take a little while for the system to credit and give you your currency! If you still haven’t received your currency in about a day or so, contact us and let us know.
I didn't mean to purchase bucks! How do I get a refund?
In order to get a refund, you'll need to contact Apple Customer Support, because the transaction was completed through the iTunes Store. They can be reached at http://bit.ly/aQ5Wx. Apple actually doesn't give us access to your billing or credit card information, so we're unable to provide you a refund directly. If you purchased zoo bucks on an Android device, contact us directly by tapping the contact link at the bottom of the FAQ.
How do I prevent accidental purchases?
In the future, if you go to "Settings" > "General" > "Restrictions" on your iOS device, you'll be able to enter a PIN that prevents any unauthorized real-money purchases inside iOS applications.
How do I earn more coins and bucks for free?
Currently, you can earn currency for free by leveling up in the game, collecting from your animals, and completing goals. Additionally, we encourage that you participate in the contests we hold on our Facebook fan page.
I inserted my email address for 5 zoo bucks but I never received them. Why?
To receive the currency, you must confirm the email we have send to your inbox. Once the email is confirmed, you should then see the currency appear next time you play.
    Common Issues
I'm seeing a gray box with an exclamation point. What do I do?
Uninstalling and reinstalling the game almost always resolves this issue. You will not lose your progress in the game if you uninstall and reinstall the app. If you are still experiencing this issue, scroll down to the bottom of the page to contact us directly. Please note that if you are on iOS 6.0 or later, there is a small chance that you will lose your game. Please make note of your TinyID and UDID before uninstalling your game so we can restore your game if necessary.
I bought an animal that produces zoo bucks, and it's not paying out in zoo bucks!
Sounds like you are playing on an older version of Tiny Zoo.
I visited someone and they expanded outside their zoo. How did they do that?
It sounds like you are on an older device, such as the iPhone 3GS. The people you see are not expanding outside of the zoo. Rather, they are on newer devices and have more expansions than you do. Older devices are limited at 33 expansions and newer devices allow 53 expansions.
I received an error that said "cannot connect to the iTunes store".
Make sure you're on a stable Internet connection. If you're connecting via 3G or cellular, try switching to Wifi. If that doesn't work, force-close the game and reopen it. Finally, we suggest to try connecting to the purchase screen once more. If it's still not working, please contact Apple at the following link: http://bit.ly/aQ5Wx.
I inserted my email address for 5 zoo bucks but I never received them. Why?
To receive the currency, you must confirm the email we have send to your inbox. Once the email is confirmed, you should then see the currency appear next time you play.
    Android: Tiny Zoo Friends
Why is the Android version of Tiny Zoo different from the iOS version?
The Android version of Tiny Zoo is not at the same level of development as the iOS version, but we still regularly add new animals to the Android version.
How do I build a Cubby Patch?
The Android version of Tiny Zoo Friends does not support this feature.
How can I recruit a friend?
The Android version of Tiny Zoo Friends does not support this feature.
How do I add items to inventory?
The Android version of Tiny Zoo Friends does not support this feature.
    Goals
Why are my goals asking me to purchase items I already have?
Goals are the same for every player and some may have items the goals ask for while others may not. If you do, you may purchase the item again to achieve the goal.
Why am I no longer seeing trash in my zoo?
If you are no longer seeing trash in your zoo, you may need to update to our latest version of the game to correct the issue. The trash will normally reappear after a few days!
    Animals
I accidentally deleted an animal! How do I get it back?
If you have accidentally deleted an animal or any item, unfortunately there isn't a way for us to recover it or make any changes within the game.
How do I rescue or adopt an animal?
To adopt an animal, you can find it under the “Animals” section. It is available for purchase to adopt it. Act fast, as the animals that need to be rescued or adopted are only available for a short amount of time.
Why doesn't my animal show in the lab even though it says it can crossbreed?
Animals that have the ability to cross-breed will no longer show up in the lab if you have already cross-bred the animal twice before to create a new species.
I have two animals already but how I do I buy the third and fourth?
If you already purchased two animals, to get the third and fourth, simply go to the "Breeding" icon on main screen and breed them.
I finished a collection and can't find the animal or reward. Where do I find it?
Once completing a collection, you will be awarded your bucks and XP as well as the new animal. To claim your new animal simply go to the "Collections" icon and at the top find the "Completed" tab. Simply scroll to find the completed collection and tap "Claim Prize" to place the animal in your zoo.
I'm going on vacation. Will my animals get sick if I don't feed them?
No, they will not. The only animals that will get sick are the ones you currently have breeding. If you don't place them in your zoo on time, they will get sick. You will then have the option to abandon them or recover them for zoo bucks. Animals that are already in your zoo will not get sick under any circumstances.
    Cubbies
    What is the Cubby Patch?

The Cubby Patch is an area where you raise baby animals to adorable stumbling toddlers. You can access your Cubby Patch from your main zoo by tapping the Cubby icon in the lower left corner. Currently, Cubbies are only available on the iOS version of Tiny Zoo Friends.

How do I feed my cubby?

After you adopt a Cubby, tap the Cubby nest in the Cubby Patch, then tap "Feed Now". Once you tap Feed Now, you have the option to instant finish for zoo bucks or wait for a certain amount of time.

    I bought a cubby. Why can't I see it?

Your Cubby won't appear in the Cubby Patch until it's fully grown. You can track the progress of its growth from the nest, though.

I bought a special cubby, but in the nest it's still showing as a common version.

Don't worry! Your special cubby will show its true colors once it's fully grown.

If I don't feed my cubby, will it get sick?

No, it will not get sick.

How do I remove the Cubbies feature from my zoo?

Cubbies cannot be removed from the zoo, but we'd love to know what you think about this feature. Don't hesitate to let us know!

How do I expand the Cubby Patch?

Expansions are not available for the Cubby Patch at this time.

How do I decorate my Cubby Patch?

This feature is not available in the Cubby Patch. You can, however, add decorations to your main zoo.

    Decorations and Items
    How do pathways work?
Select the type of path you want (water, gravel, etc.) and place the first piece where you want in your Zoo. Add the second piece in what direction you want the path to start going (top, bottom, left, or right.) If you want a corner path, just place another path in the new direction you want the pathway to go and it will change into that piece. Unfortunately, this feature is not available on Android.
    How do I remove paths?
We're very sorry you are having trouble selecting a specific path. Paths are sometimes difficult to click on due to the nature of their size and function. The best to select a path is to move the items around it away from the path so that there is a clear space around the path. Once there is a sufficient amount of space around the path you should be able to select each individual path.
How do I place items in inventory?
You can place items in inventory by tapping on the item and selecting the blue filing cabinet icon in the center. You must confirm and then the item will be put into inventory!
How do I get items back out of inventory?
You can take items back out of inventory by going to the store, selecting any section, and then tapping on inventory in the lower right-hand corner. Tap the item you'd like and select "place it." Once this is done, your item will be back in your Zoo. This feature is only available in the iOS version of Tiny Zoo, it is not supported in the Android version.
How do you delete an item?
To delete items in your zoo, you can tap on the item. An orange box will pop up with the option to “move” the item or “delete.” You may tap delete , confirm, and this will get rid of the item for you. Be careful as once you delete an item you can no get it back.
How do I find trees to decorate my Zoo?
Trees and other decor items can be found by visiting the store, selecting decorations, and then scrolling through to find them!
I am trying to place and item in my zoo but it won't let me. Why?
When placing items in your zoo, be sure that nothing is blocking the item. The item will be highlighted green when available to place but if it is red, something maybe in the way. Things like paths and decoration generally do this as items cannot be placed above them.
    Limitations
I can't expand my zoo anymore. Are you going to make more expansions?
First off, congratulations! That's quite the accomplishment. If you're playing on an older device, such as the iPhone 3GS, you are limited at 33 expansions. Newer devices allow up to 53 expansions. At this time, there aren't any plans to add more expansions to Tiny Zoo, as causing more would cause significant performance issues (crashes). We do know that this is a popular request, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Why can I only have 170 or 300 habitats in my zoo?
Tiny Zoo currently places a maximum of 170 species per zoo on older devices (such as the iPhone 3GS) and 300 on newer devices. Allowing more animals causes significant performance problems, which can cause the game to crash while you're playing. We occasionally raise the limit, but there are not any plans at this time to raise the limit.
    Tiny Social
How do I make a TinyID?
You can set up a TinyID by going to Menu -> Tiny Social -> Profile -> Entering a TinyID below the Profile Picture. Make sure you like the name you choose. Once you set your TinyID, it cannot be changed.
    How do I add friends?
You can add friends by visiting Tiny Social and going to the invite tab. Type in a friend's Tiny ID to add them! If you don't know anyone who plays Tiny Zoo, no problem! Just visit the community tab, find a user, and add their Tiny ID instead!
How do I tip my friends?
You can tip your friends by visiting Tiny Social, selecting the Friends tab, and then visiting your friend's Zoo. Once there, simply tap on the tip jar to leave a tip!
Do I give my own coins away when I tip someone?
No. When you tip someone, they receive 100 coins but it's not coming out of your own pocket, so to speak.
How many tips can I receive a day?
You can only receive 50 tips a day.
How many times can I tip people a day?
You can tip 500 people a day.
How do I change my avatar picture?
To change your avatar picture, tap Friends, Profile, and tap "Update" under your current avatar. This will bring up a variety of options of new avatars to choose from.
    Contests
Where can I find Tiny Zoo contests?
To find our contests, head over to the Tiny Zoo Facebook fan page. We run contests from time to time there. We highly encourage that you participate in our contests for a chance to win zoo bucks!
How do I take a photo of my Zoo?
To take a photo of your Zoo, tap on the menu in the game. Once here, then tap on the camera icon to take a snapshot of your Zoo! Please note, this feature is only available on iOS. If you are on Android, consult the manual of your device on how to take a screenshot. Not all Android devices support this feature.
